Please read thoroughly. We are holding our annual competition team for our 2022-2023 competition season. Audition fee is $20 per child. Attendance is mandatory in order to be considered. There are no makeup auditions and if you are late, you will not be allowed to audition so please prepare in advance for travel time. All dancers should arrived neat, polished and looking camera ready. Any dancer that would like to be considered for KL Dance Company is required to be enrolled into ballet class at Kreative Legends for Fall 2022 and Spring 2023. Training & rehearsals for competition team will be on Sundays. Other rehearsal times may be scheduled as well. Times of rehearsals will be announced to selected students that are accepted into Kreative Legends Dance Company & Competition Team. Competition Dancers and Parents must have a flexible schedule as extra last minute rehearsals may be called.There are only 15 final spots in both our Mini Legends & Rising Legends competition team. However, we will accept 10 additional students to be in our traveling troupe team per each age group. This year's competition season will run from September 2022 through May 2023 and will include a signed commitment contract. Dance must be your number one priority (other sport conflicts will not be tolerated).

There is a monthly tuition for our competition & traveling troupe team members. If you choose to accept, competition team fees will be due on the 3rd Saturday of each month. More information will be shared with students & parents after the audition.

One week after auditions you will receive an email informing whether your child was accepted as a member of Kreative Legends Dance Company or not. Some students may be accepted into the company to be apart of our traveling troupe and some as both traveling troupe and competition member.

If selected for competition team: Dancers work throughout the season on choreography for group and/or solo performances for various dance styles. We participate in 2-4 competitions throughout the year. Also, members are allowed to attend our scheduled master classes, travel for other opportunities and more.

If selected for traveling troupe: Although dancers in the traveling troupe will not be competing, they will train along side the competition members. Also, they will be allowed to attend any other master classes in and out of the studio, travel for other opportunities and more. Dancers work on short group routines to perform at various events in the community throughout the year. Also, dancers will be allowed to travel with us as supportive team members at competitions.

If your not selected for traveling troupe or competition team: You may request feedback via email. In addition, we encourage you to stay inspired, motivated, and passionate.

Please understand that an audition is not a guaranteed “Yes”. There is a chance of hearing “No” or rejection. Not everyone will make the team. All decisions will be final (please be aware of this before auditioning). This is not meant to discourage any dancer in anyway. However, please use this audition as an opportunity and positive experience. We want all dancers to walk away from this audition feeling inspired, encouraged and passionate.
