Irvin Mobley- DANCE CAPTAIN
Hi!
my name is Irvin Mobley & I’m from Philadelphia,PA. I started dance when I was 8 years old and from there dance has been my passion. Before dance, my passion was for baseball and basketball and while I still enjoy it, Dance is still my #1 passion. Did I mention I’m a model too? I have trained in multiple dance genres including, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Horton, Baton Twirling and more.
I’m currently a freshman honor student at Multicultural Academy Charter School.
I have been on KLDC for 2 seasons now & I have been the #DanceCaptain for both seasons. I lead my team by being the example first, assisting our coaches and members and bringing positivity to the team. I am currently Kreative Legends “Legend Of The Year” and I received a full scholarship for my tuition to be free for a year. During my first year competing at @applausetalent I won 1st place for my jazz solo and won the “Mr. Applause” title of New Jersey.
In my free time, you can catch me hanging with my dance brothers and sisters or spending time with my family.
I desire to go to college, make a positive impact in my community, continue my dance training and earn my Finance Degree.
Jahiya brown- team coordinator
Hello!
my name is Jahiya Brown. I’m currently in my senior year of high school and upcoming my last season at KL. This is my second and final year apart of our company team. My first year I won second place at our very first competition & also earned a judge’s award as “Most Captivating Performance”. I have been dancing for 14 years & I have been with KL since our doors first opened, becoming KL’s “Legend of the Year 2021”. I plan to graduate high school and attend an HBCU to become a pediatrician. My favorite genres are contemporary and ballet, seeking to continue dancing throughout college. I can’t wait to finish out my final season stronger than ever & work towards my future.
Takhaya wilkins- REHEARSAL LEADER
Hey!
I’m Takhaya (Miss KL) I’m a dancer and also instructor at Kreative Legends. I started dancing at the age of three and have been ever since. I love to dance and I love to teach and help others learn to dance, too. I was also voted Legend of the Year from 2022 to 2023.
I love dance because it is an escape for me. Dance is a place where I can get away.
My favorite styles of dance are Ballet and Contemporary, but I also do Jazz, modeling and more.
The first person to inspire me to dance was professional ballet dancer, Misty Copeland. I did a project on her when I was in 3rd Grade, and seeing her work made me want to take dance more seriously.
My goal in life is to also be a professional ballet dancer.
My journey is still underway, but I can’t wait to see where and how far it will take me!
